The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
